I believe that discipline in school can be a learning process and encourage positive attitudes.

Morals and values are very powerful as is a positive attitude.
What are your thoughts on ways to improve Black student achievement in your district and in Michigan schools overall?
Encouraging minorities to take part in programs that they can excel in and show leadership skills.
What are your thoughts on how to ensure that all students and their families, regardless of race, gender identity, sexuality, disability, religion, income status, etc., feel safe and included in your district?
I feel a positive attitude is the key in our district. Including all to participate in open meetings and to express their feelings and concerns.
What are your thoughts on how to recruit and retain staff, particularly staff of color, in your district with regard to pay, benefits, and working conditions?
All staff is included for all benefits. If a member of the staff needs special consideration it would be addressed.
